EBOO ® (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) at Serenity Holistic Medical Clinic is an advanced ozone-based treatment designed to deeply cleanse the blood, support the immune system, and restore cellular energy for people living with chronic inflammation and toxicity.
EBOO ® is a clinically advanced form of extracorporeal ozone therapy in which a patient’s venous blood is continuously withdrawn and circulated through a sterile external circuit. During the process, the blood is exposed to a precisely controlled oxygen–ozone gas mixture, allowing for oxidative interaction with blood components. The blood then passes through a high-efficiency hemofiltration membrane, which assists in removing circulating impurities and inflammatory mediators, before being reinfused into the patient. This process aims to support blood purification and improving systemic oxygenation and cellular activity.
The “blood detox circuit” breaks down and removes biofilm, heavy metals, mould toxins, inflammatory debris and even microplastics that may be circulating in your system. EBOO ® operates on a four-pronged mechanism to scrub your blood systemically.
This is the “killer feature” that separates EBOO from every other ozone therapy. The device uses a hollow-fiber filter, similar to a dialysis cartridge. As your blood flows through these microscopic fibers, the filter physically traps:
- Heavy Fats and Cholesterol: Reducing viscosity and improving circulation.
- Cellular Debris: Dead cells and metabolic waste that clog your system.
- Inflammatory Proteins: Including cytokines and viral remnants.
- Heavy Metals: Often bound to proteins in the blood.
Within the filter, Ozone gas (O3) is introduced to the blood. Because ozone is highly unstable, it reacts immediately. This creates a momentary “oxidative shock”—a calculated stressor that:
